Jess & Matt celebrated their special day at The Manor Parc Country Hotel

Being a wedding photographer I am put in a very privileged position. Being asked to photograph the biggest day in someone’s life is always an honour, and one I do not take lightly.
Sometimes though there’s a wedding that means something more to me. I’ve not and never have been one for awards and accolades. The biggest review I can ever get from a past customer is for them to recommend me to their friends.

This is what happened with Jess & Matt, booking me after having being recommended by a previous customer and attending a number of weddings I had photographed. It really does mean the world to me to know people trust me enough to recommend me. It always helps when new customers see me at work interacting with the bride, groom and their guests. As it is so much more than taking beautiful photos.

Jess & Matt had not only seen how I work before but had had the chance to work with me during their engagement shoot at Roath Park.

I arrived with my second shooter Stef at Jess’s mother’s house. Bridal prep was in full swing with the bride to be looking stunning.

After a lovely ceremony at St Margaret’s Church, Roath. We headed to The Manor Parc Hotel for the reception.

With Jamie from Pure Welsh Magic wowing the guests with his amazing tricks we had plenty to capture. It was lovely to be around such a welcoming wedding party.

We had a brilliant day with Jess, Matt and all their guests.

Massive thanks to the lovely couple for entrusting us to shoot your day you were a pleasure to work with. It was like photographing old friends.
